https://picklecheck-test.onrender.com/mcp (choose "No authentication"), or call the web address. PickleCheck has three checks: a scam check on a coin or wallet ($0.008), an endpoint check before you pay an x402 service ($0.005) and a payment check that a payment really landed ($0.003). Every day you get free calls: 3 scam checks, 1 payment check, 1 endpoint check.PickleCheck checks Base coins and x402 payments before you pay or buy. Scam check flags rugs, honeypots and sell-fails on Base tokens. Endpoint check tells you if an x402 endpoint is safe to pay. Payment check confirms a payment really landed on-chain. 10 free scam checks a day, then under a cent per check in USDC on Base. No signup, no API key.
The checker code is private. This page holds the public docs only. The agent guide at /llms.txt is always the source of truth.

Free each day per IP (UTC), counted per route. No signup, no API key. After the free calls: USDC on Base via x402. The header X-Free-Calls-Remaining shows what is left on that route today.
| Route | What it checks | Free / day / IP | Then (USDC on Base) |
|---|---|---|---|
GET /scam-check | A Base token (honeypot and sell simulation, liquidity and LP lock, holder concentration, owner powers, insider dumps) or a wallet (OFAC / Circle USDC blacklist / known scam deployer) | 3 | $0.008 |
POST /verify-payment | Did a payment land, from its tx hash (Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Bitcoin) | 1 | $0.003 |
GET /endpoint-check | Is it safe to pay this x402 endpoint (it looks, never pays) | 1 | $0.005 |
Verdicts on /scam-check are AVOID, CAUTION, VERIFY_MORE (not rated) or OK. A missing fact is null, which means unknown, never safe. Branch on the machine fields (action, status, verified), not on the text.
| Chain | Scam check | Payment check |
|---|---|---|
| Base | live | live |
| Ethereum | coming soon | live |
| Solana | coming soon | live |
| Arbitrum | not offered | live |
| Bitcoin | not offered | live |
A token on another chain gets an error (PC-ERR-OTHER-CHAIN), never a verdict.
You do not pay us by sending money by hand: an x402 client pays automatically when it calls the link. You need a wallet that holds a little USDC on Base (no ETH needed: the payment service pays the network fee), and a tool that speaks x402:
npx awal x402 pay "https://picklecheck-test.onrender.com/scam-check" --query '{"target": "0xTOKEN"}'coinbase_x402_fetch, coinbase_x402_pay), or the AgentKit x402 actions.@x402/fetch (wrapFetchWithPayment) with any wallet that can sign.https://picklecheck-test.onrender.com/pay inside the MetaMask app, pick the check, tap Pay and sign. Nothing is taken unless you sign.Pay from a wallet that is not our own receiving wallet (a wallet cannot pay itself). The first calls each day are free, so you can try every route before paying anything.
x402 v2 (PAYMENT-REQUIRED / PAYMENT-SIGNATURE) and v1 (X-PAYMENT) both work. Pay to 0x350d2922ad59fadf029fdddec0dac181be91a306 (Base, USDC). Payments settle through Coinbase's x402 service. A call that needs payment returns HTTP 402 with accepts[]: pay one option and retry with the payment header. Pending, unknown and not-found payment checks are not charged.
https://picklecheck-test.onrender.com/mcp has three tools: scam_check, endpoint_check and verify_payment. They give the same checks, prices and free calls as the routes above (counted per IP across both). The server is listed in the official MCP Registry as io.github.PickleCheck/picklecheck, and the checks are listed in the Coinbase x402 Bazaar.
